Day 16 Full Moon

In essence, full moons are nourishing. The moon, symbolic of the feminine, receives the light of the sun, shining it back to us with illumination. When the moon is full, its strong gravitational pull on the Earth makes for a time of peak creative energy and incredibly powerful intuitive breakthroughs. It’s about embodiment. The full moon accentuates everything that you’ve been working on during the waxing phase. Just as with the four seasons, the phases of the moon carry various qualities and intentions. If you practice yoga during the full moon, be prepared to experience new sensations, maybe feeling a little ungrounded or obstinate. Accept those feelings and try to create space and open yourself to the powerful energy of the moon.

Pay attention to the feelings whatever you have from today and embrace them as they are.

Retreat Agenda:

  1. Full-moon Yoga at night to soothe yourself with the power of the lunar energy.

  2. Mantra chanting “OM CHANDRAYA NAMAHA!”  Mantra is a sacred utterance, a numinous sound, a syllable, word or phonemes, or group of words in Sanskrit believed by practitioners to have psychological and/or spiritual powers. This mantras help to develop peace, faith, receptivity and surrender. Chant Here.

  3. Have a early sleep tonight.

Use the agenda to guide you today, but never feel bad if you won’t be able to follow. Have a few minutes to look at the moon, it’s already good enough.

May you be happy! May all beings be happy! See you tomorrow!
